You don't have to follow some fancy diet plan to lose weight. In fact doing so will likely lead you to failure. The goal is to create a lifestyle for yourself that promotes health and a healthy body composition.
1.)𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝- we all have a pretty good idea what "bad" food is. Basically no fast food, minimize processed food, and no added sugar.
2.) 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧 - this is basic science and THE ONLY WAY TO LOSE WEGHT! It really is just that simple.
3.) 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬- don't hide from carbs or fat but keep them in proportion to your Protein. I recommend a 40/30/30 ratio (40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fat).
4.) 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 - only 0 calorie soda and energy drinks. Avoid juice and alcohol. Notice I did not say no artificial sweeteners, and no they don't affect blood sugar.
5.) 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐬 - do not make these a part of your daily plan. You don't need some magic shake or bar to help you lose weight. In fact they tend to make healthy eating harder. Instead use them when you get in a pinch and don't have access to real food!
